Quail Lake Environmental Charter School is a K-8 school located north of Sanger and east of Clovis, and is within the award winning Sanger Unified School District.
We provide a safe, educational center for lifelong learning. We are dedicated to developing the potential of each individual, encouraging community awareness, and stressing the importance of academic excellence.
If you are looking for a rigorous and safe academic environment for your child, please contact our school office. Since we are a charter school, we do not have attendance boundaries and are an “open enrollment” school.
Our Mission & Vision
At Quail Lake Environmental Charter School we make learning real!! Students learn, grow, create and innovate while participating in hands-on science based inquiry to solve real-world problems through science literacy, technology, engineering, and math.
Students engage in environmentally based instruction through an integrated curriculum that maintains high standards and expectations for learning. By using real world skills and hands-on opportunities, staff inspires curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking. Staff and students work in a culture of collaboration and communicate on projects allowing opportunities to take risks and be actively involved in the learning process.

Welcome to Quail Lake Environmental Charter School!
We take great pride in being the home of the mighty Falcons! We believe in educating the whole child through hands-on learning experiences and a focus on the sciences. We are a Green Ribbon Award winning school for our efforts in sustainability and project-based learning in our 4,000 square foot garden. We also have been recognized as a California Distinguished School for both our elementary and junior high for our continued dedication to student academic achievement. We are a recipient of the Bonner Character Education Award, PBIS Platinum Award, and recognized nationally as a School to Watch. Our teachers and staff are dedicated to ensuring the best possible learning experience for our students.
Our students are dedicated, involved, and motivated to be the best they can be. Our Parent Teacher Organization plays an important role in creating activities for students and celebrating our school’s success. As we work to develop lifelong learners, we recognize the importance of connecting our students to a variety of activities, including robotics, athletics, drama, band, and others. It is through the collaborative efforts of our parents, students, and staff that we have been able to make Quail Lake a special place to learn for all of our students.
